I can almost hear in my ears my mother’s words, when I was just a child: “Love others. Be kind!” They were coming from a heart that was full of tears and despair. I grew up dreaming to be kind and to surround myself with people that are kind, people who love others.
Today I look around myself with joy, seeing how other people are also respecting their mother’s wish: “Love others. Be kind!” The “Food Bank” campaign was a great opportunity to find them. There were some I couldn’t even shake their hand. They gave, anonymously, without expecting even a “thank you” in return. Those that I’ve met impressed me through their modesty and kindness.
Dear friends, on behalf of the 62 families who received a food parcel – as a practical and most needed love message – I want to thank you. Their children will be able to knock eggs, learning that the Resurrection Day comes with a message of hope and with the chance of a new beginning. The parents will enjoy a bit of peace, at least for a few days from now on. Together we can change the world of those around us…
Love others. Be kind!
