Dress a child for the summer camp!

HAVE YOU EVER SENT YOUR CHILD IN A SUMMER CAMP? What did you put in his or her backpack? Will you ever agree to send them with ripped clothing or having less than what they need?

Two weeks from now, Hope Rescue Centre will organize, in Moeciu de Jos, a dream summer camp for 31 children, boys and girls that are coming from very poor families (homeless or living in extreme poverty). Most of them never got outside Bucharest, even though they are going to school and have good results.

We were able to cover most of the expenses, related to transportation, accommodation, meals, etc. Still, we have a big problem: most of them have an empty closet, lacking the minimum that is required for such a trip! We spread the news, so that the children will have what they need for the camp.

What can you bring?

  • T-shirts
  • Trousers
  • Socks
  • Slippers
  • Caps
  • Sport shoes
  • Towels
  • Hygiene stuff (toothbrushes and toothpaste, soap, shampoo)
